A dog who escaped while out for a walk in New York City was last spotted in Hudson County, New Jersey Friday after traversing the Lincoln Tunnel.
Lolo got away from a dog walker Thursday at about 2:30 p.m. on 42nd Street between 10th and 11th avenues, said Peter Liao, the uncle of the pet owner. Lolo headed down 10th Avenue and into the Lincoln Tunnel entrance, Liao said.
On Friday, Lolo was spotted in Hoboken and in Weehawken.
“Last night being single-digit temperatures we thought she would not survive being only 9 months old and being so thin, but she made it,” Liao said. “Unfortunately she runs like a greyhound so no one can catch her.”

A flyer with Lolo’s information was shared dozens of times online, including by Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante. A Hoboken police lieutenant said that last he heard the search party was near Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken looking for Lolo.
Liao said police in New Jersey have been helpful in sharing Lolo’s story and looking for her.
Anyone who sees Lolo can call 917-374-6200.
